Hey there, mama. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Michelle—founder of The Salty Mama Co., boy mom to my sweet Matthew, beach lover, blogger, hotel manager, and multi-hat-wearing creative.
This business started as a simple side hustle during my first pregnancy—a way to create cute, cozy, meaningful things I loved, while hoping to carve out more time and flexibility to be with my growing family. It quickly grew into something more: a creative outlet, a passion project, and now a space where I get to connect with other moms and share the real, beautiful, sometimes chaotic side of motherhood.
I was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida, where salt air, sunshine, and seashells were part of everyday life. In 2011, I moved to New Hampshire for a fresh start and a new chapter. I’ve always had a love for creativity—especially branding and storytelling—and in 2016/2017, I launched my own small marketing agency to help other small businesses and nonprofits bring their visions to life.
Alongside running my agency, I also work full-time as a hotel manager handling reservations, food & beverage, and marketing—yes, that’s a lot of hats, and a lot of caffeine. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
In 2022, I met my fiancé, Jeff, and by December 2023, we found out we were expecting our first baby. Our greatest blessing, Matthew, arrived on August 20, 2024, and changed our world in the best way. (Trust me, you’ll hear more about him.)
Through all these seasons, the ocean has always been my anchor. I’ve brought that energy—calm, healing, and powerful—into everything I do. There’s just something about the salt... it really can heal everything. And that’s why The Salty Mama Co. isn’t just a brand, it’s a reflection of my life.
